Heated Swimming Pools and Sauna
The Brunswick offers guests a leisure pass to our heated swimming pools both indoor and outdoor and use of the sauna. We have sun loungers in our private garden to catch the summer sun and outside tables and chairs on the coastal path to enjoy a barista coffee and slice of cake whilst watching the waves at the seaside.
Due to Covid-19 and the new government restrictions we have unfortunately closed both pools and the sauna. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause. However our number one concern is everyone's health and safety.
Seaview Lounge
We have a bright, quiet cosy conservatory type room overlooking the sea with books, Freeview Tv and fireplace this is a great room to relax with coffee and slice of cake, catch up on business or read a book at your leisure and your not too far from the bar for a tipple of your choice.
Coast Restaurant and Piano Bar
Lunch
We prides ourselves on superb food offering , We offer a Bar style lunch menu in the piano bar where you can expect the piano being played daily at lunch between 12pm and 3pm serving the likes of Isle of wight crab sandwiches, fish and chips and many other classics you would expect at the seaside all served with the option of deli portions for the lighter lunch option.
We will also be offering cream teas, teacakes and excellent coffee served between 12pm and 4pm.
Dinner
During the evenings we will be serving our 4 course meals that will change daily served between 6:15 till 8:15 in our spacious and attractive dining room. Your evenings will be remembered especially for the quality of our four course meals and you may even meet the chef who often comes out to meet and our greet guests. Our chef has 37 years experience and has trained as a chef in he’s career in the royal navy then went on to work on many cruise ships and many well-known hotels.
On certain nights of the week we will have live entertainment from musicians to comedy acts so keep your eye out for the nightly schedule.
As you would expect from any quality 3-star Isle of Wight hotel, The bedrooms are equipped with modern en suite bathrooms and Freeview TVs. We have wonderful gardens and fantastic sea views we are only a short walk to Shanklin’s beach, town centre and renowned old village all boasting restaurants, bars and cafes it really does make The Brunswick a perfectly located seaside Isle of Wight hotel.
The outdoor pool is in part of the hotel’s carefully tended and beautiful gardens. These are situated at the rear of the hotel. The Green is named after the famous poet who frequently strolled along its path, drawing inspiration from the superb sea views. This path is part of the Island’s Coastal path network, allowing you to walk round the entire Island right beside the sea.
